The Kendo seminar and individual Kendo tournament “Riga Cup 2013 & Yumura Cup” will be held in Riga on June 07th - 09th, 2013 and will be hosted by Latvian Kendo federation.

Information
We are honored and proud that the Masahito Yumura sensei (Kendo Hanshi, 8 dan) has established the Cup (Yumura Cup) for first place in the individual tournament.

Regulations of the matches will follow “The Regulation of Kendo Shiai and Shinpan” set forth by the Federation of International Kendo (FIK). The organizer reserves the right to modify and adjust the competition modes if necessary. The exact modes and regulations will be announced on the competition day. During all days of the event, it is possible to leave your equipment in the School Gym.

The Sushi Party on Saturday evening, which is included in the event fee (except drinks), will be at:

For interstate and overseas participants, we will try to arrange car-pooling on the day to transport everyone from the seminar venue to the Sushi Party. The purpose of the evening is to have a nice time together and to especially get to know our Japanese guests and taste the sushi which they prepare. Also close to the “Hotel Baltvilla” there are several hostels (“Tale” and “Kuze”). EUR 10/person per day and EUR 5 breakfast. Booking rooms and contact person Mr. Osis (guntis.osis@baltvilla.lv).
